Missy's injury

Here we go again.....Missy is trying to become exactly how Kitty is!  While I do appreciate that in some ways, I also do NOT!  Injury prone horses are no fun and I'm finding out that I love having 2 horses to ride and train!  And I'm super happy/blessed to be able have 2 horses so that I can ride one when something like this happens!  Missy did the same as Kitty--just not as severe--I hope.  She somehow caught her back legs in the fence and tangled herself up.  So of course, I'm praying her swelling goes down and nothing is seriously injured and you can pray too if you don't mind saying prayers for animals.

Here are a few pics:

Both of her legs are pretty swollen now, but she is not lame so lots of hosing going on around here and she is VERY good for it!

Kitty update on her injury:  (about a year ago-she did this kinda thing)  She is doing GREAT!  She is on a joint supplement, because she would act stiff on that leg sometimes and slide it a bit her first few steps of a ride, but she has not PRAISE THE LORD!!!! done this for a good while and she's been ridden HARD! She still has a bubble bump on her back leg, but I don't mind the blemishes and deformities if she can still be herself!!!!

The tale of the rat killer

Once in a far away land worked an innocent young, beautiful horse gal!   ;)  haha ya...me!  Does that look look innocent or what?

Everything was going smoothy for the young gal.  Little did she know there was danger lurking in the adjacent stall.  The infamous Rugged Rat of Ruhold was readying a ridiculous plan of ruthless revenge!

BEHOLD:  Rugged Rat of Ruhold is about to surprise the unsuspecting, lovely gal!  Behold, the VILLAIN!!

Indeed, it could have been fatal for the lady of rare beauty if it had not been for her secret admirer....THE HERO...her lifesaver...her knight in German Shepherd coat was nearby!

Sir Dirk of Duty heard a horrible scream of terror!

Sir Dirk eyes his prey knowing he must risk his life to save his lady!

Sir Dirk pounced on his prey and snapped the neck of Rugged Rat of Ruhold!

Sir Dirk was the VICTOR!

And as they say to the victor goes the spoils and the very pretty lady!
They lived happily ever after!

And I thought cleaning stalls could be boring? lol!
